John learned how to play guitar in highschool, acoustic guitar.As soon as he started learning he was inspired to work hard practicing as he cut his teeth singing along with Beatle albums his older sisters bought. Once he found that he was able to sing and play guitar that was it. 2 years after he first learned to play, he started his 30+ year career singing and playing solo. Through out the years John has switched between solo and playing with other people.

John uses a loop pedal on his guitar which allows him to do multiple guitar parts at the same time. He sounds like more than one person. John can play soft and quiet for a dinner crowd, or rock it! Youget the best of both worlds!
